most funtastic camp this year
Junior youth camp 2003
ROCKED
i just cant say how much it just
ROCKED
so lets be all systematic here

Pre camp prep on fri-
turning up at church at 4
i slacked around a bit
and started attaching the nametags
mundane stuff
josh and i got hold of petrina's
minature rugby ball
heh heh
well, after some packing up
it was off for dinner at pizza hut
pretty cool
just ate and chilled out
then i went home
cos i was still sick

Day1- yammers, christians, romans=fun
was at the church gates bright and early at 7am
only to find them locked
in the end i woke everyone up
with disturbing handphone calls
heh heh
dumped my stuff and went to haang
the next few hours involved a whole lot of
equipment carrying and grunt work
so ill skip it.
of course
the novel moment was when we threw
the bloody eyeball at pet
to elicit a loud scream
heh heh
the first of many more to come

the ride to the campsite was lame crap
jake and i did the airline commentary
nonsense
hope you people liked it
haha.
we arrived at the campsite with a bang
the rest was the usual
unloading
unpacking
and lunch
the yammers came
and things began to get interesting
we played a series of competitive station games
the comm sent in a swing team to balance the team
harhar
we won every game
(cept one)
har har

of course
the night games were a blast
the Jesus game
jake, ivee jie, ben the man and me
set a boundary up
of course
raveen joined us midway
and thats when the havoc started
we started it all off,
when jake started sprinting
and raveen and i screamed
"its Jesus, get him!"
of course
the whole lot of goons were completely baffled
in the gloomy night
so a whole lot of ppl started chasing him!
so jake!
in the 2nd round
i reprised jakes role
only i got dragged down by
some enthu camper
only to jack em all!!
mwahahhahah
ok.
im sure the campers
and pretty much everyone
at palawan beach that night
heard a resounding warcry
break the chill of the night?
im sure they were startled
when the fearsome
cries of ancient maori
long gone
echoed through the night
it was the ultimate haka.
no restraints, no recognition
just plain haka.
hoo boy.
of course it was only
"serious constipation"
to uncle sin chee
but nevermind him.

ahh
who can forget the first night
it was a tough night on us guy comm members
what with shaun corrupting all of us
with
"success" jokes
and ben sending us rolling out of
our beds
when he starts to laugh at shauns joke.....
an hour after he told it.

Day2-Amaaazing race
yup
the big day
we all got up early
(fairly early)
set out with nat and shine
we stuffed the ladder into the monorail
and headed for our station
kristy and shaun came to pick me up later
of course
shaun wanted to rent a bike
kristy walked
so...
we ended up grumbling our way back
haha
halfway through kristy began to regret
walking
thankfully
unc anthony pulled over to give us a lift
to our station
so we met up with
ivee jie
and ben tha man
we were basically stoning the whole day
so we went back to camp
finished off lunch
and headed for segment two
BEACH GAMES

we were all reluctant at first
being so tired and all
but soon we were waist deep in the sea
i was determined not to get wet
but it was inevitable
i threw myself in
to prevent the shame of getting thrown in
by the crazy old men(guo liang, justin, john kok)
anyway
it was a crazy blast
just drenching everyone
of course
"mrs hiew'
and company were after my head
but hurrah!
musketeers (cept one...)
to the rescue!
reinforcements drove the scoundrels back
the whole comm just loosened up
after that
just steaming in the water
oh yes
i must mention
if u guys noticed ben lim
the quiet ri swimmer in charge of food
im sure u would have thought
"nice quiet chap
must be shocked to be thrown in
with the likes of shaun, both joshuas etc."
oh how LITTLE u know of him
the transformation mainly took place here
josh , pet and jas were trying to
get adriels pants off
and innocent ben suddenly blurted out
"looks like fun"
and rubbed his hands.
case closed.

COP at night was ground breaking
besides excellent worship
it was a really great first COP
for the CM kids
really woke everyone up

well
later at night
was just chaos
everyone was just goin mad
not that anyone really cared
(except the two AUSTRALIANS)
((hiss..booo))
the comm gathered in the gals room
for some sharing and jokes lah
so while 'mat' men josh and ben
were up to their antics
i upped the scream factor
by creeping above kristy
and freaking her out 3 times
by dangling a name tag on her head
(she thought it was a lizard)
we were soon chased out
so the mat men returned to their korner
soon the guys dorm was turned into
the...
DRUM ROLL
mat korner
noodles
sweet wrappers
cards
water bottles
littered the ground
as the brudders
smoked their
marlboros(or salim)
played their mat guitars
and just talked rot lah
i was the first to knock out at two
the rest of the mat gang
CLAIMED they knocked out at 4plus

Day3-Finale
i woke up still thinking they were still
playing cards
but realised we were
goin to be late
for worship
oh well
the projector screwed up
so that was a waste
cos for once
i guess the team was playing well
it turned out to be more of a concert
than worship
thats never good...
but oh well..we learn
so thats pretty much it

some stuff is a bit hard to describe
like ben's transformation
from quiet innocent young man
to insane dirty old man
he's one funky RI guy
he's by far the coolest
raffles chap around!
if raffles were filled with guys like him
then...
raffles would turn into ac
so nevermind.
hhaha
jk only

and of course
shaun, the cool guitarists
we never knew he knew how to play...
THE ARMPIT
yes ladies and gentleman
our good shaun lai
may be top of his class
when it comes to guitar
but he's just the highest
mountain
when it comes to making
farts with his armpit
yessiree
he can ditch the guit now!

of course, jane's, kristy's, caryn's and bernie's
inane fear of lizards
jolene's and nats fear of the dark
(take note people)
and well.
you really dont want to be in jasmines dorm
its not safe.

well
my cut finger is really hurting now
so i guess ill stop here
