i realised that it WAS wrong
for me to have defaulted on school
to have failed in my admin duties
but you know what
i dont think its that wrong.
thats right.
i DO think that you are making morning duties
to be a ridiculous obligation
as a matter of fact
i think you lot make the ENTIRE SYSTEM
a ridiculous obligation
of bureacracy
rules
regulations
structure
order
hierachy
discipline
ENFORCED unity
ENFORCED friendship
wow
my idea of what makes a good student leader differs from yours
so there
do what you will
its not even that big a priority in my life
as a matter of fact
its somewhere near the bottom now
to prefects, council and whatever else related to that-
i REFUSE to change my opinions
i REFUSE to change my attitude
i WILL ENDEAVOUR to respect your instructions
ONLY because i respect you as friends and as people
AND as authorities
NOT because i believe in what you say
i CONDEMN our meaningless aim in the school
i DECRY the board as having turned into a pool of workers for school duties
and policmen
INSTEAD of the student body we should be
i DO NOT DENY that i have not exmplified the ideals and characteristics of a student leader
but i PERSIST in my belief that the
Anglo-Chinese School Prefectorial Board
is fast becoming
a sham.
so there
now to get that on paper.
