alea jacta est
the die is cast
the gears have been set in motion
and my course is set
i have crossed my rubicon
into the unknown

and so
as the age of one empire sets
another rises
the pax adrianicus
it is too early to tell
how the reign of the next Emperor of Rome will fare
but for now
much revelry and rejoicing will ensue
the senatorial positions have been decided
and together with the truminivate
they will rule
will it be a time of prosperity and harmony
a time of unity amongst the the fragile armies?
or a time of disaster and destruction
wreaked by division and confusion
and of course
external
foes
only time will tell
one thing for sure
i am much more relieved under this rule
than the last

tis sad tis sad
all is lost
and i am sad
but then again
there never was much to begin with was there?
spinning discs spinning discs
none that can balance
but as old ones fall to ground
new ones are spun

soon the season for war will begin again
this time of peace will not last
and slowly
the engines of war will creak into motion
it is time to do battle
there is much to do
and so little time to do it
in a while
it shall be upon us
and it will be our last chance
we were blessed to be victorious this year
will we once again truimph?
or will we be defeated?
all is in flux
everything is in motion
ultimately
it is in Him that we must trust
but in the meantime
we prepare

little piece of cowbone
reminding me of a better time and age
" a new beginning"
pah
the beginning of an end more like
a series of disastrous events
guess it was inevitable
couldnt have worked out the way it did
this is getting to be a bad habit
forsaking the old tried and tested
for the new and unfamiliar
it must stop
but yet it must continue
we shall wait
and we shall see
and when it comes..

o tempora o mores- the beginning of post-modernism?
