SICK AGAIN!
for ONCE
mum was right
about the late nights
argh
missed worship
missed fl
missed phototaking
missed rehearsal
missed EP
missed debate
swell.
never again will i sleep late
for weeks in a row
or so i say.

ho hum
three days in isolation
awesomely boring

ever had that feeling that you've done something before?
ever thought that you talked to these people
at this exact same place before?
ever wondered how you knew exactly how a building was laid out
when you've never visited it before?
well i have.
deja vu they call it
just a weird subconscious thought you might think
or is it
a mask
for something deeper
more sinister?
like a computer programme
that overwrites old memory when it crops up again
did it really happen before?
what lies behind that mask
what shrouds itself behind those
two
mysterious words
deja vu

i walked into the cosy room
settling myself down into the large red chair
heavy eyelids bore themselves slowly down
as slumber overtook me
needless to say
shock was abound
when i awakened
to a large gathering
stately men satisfying their pallet
by dousing it with wine
soldiers, armed to the teeth
wandering around aimlessly
charming elegant ladies
floating about delicately
evil horrible creatures
skulking in dark corners
what sort of world is this?
what strange land have i chanced upon?
well
naught would answer these questions
but myself.
and so i set out
