yup
its been ONE year
since that horrible selection camp
and now im on the other side
haha
its been quite a journey!
well
anyway
it was a real cool
camp
not for them of course
more for me
specially cos of all the friends around me
haha

day1
yep, came late
erm
i came in at cheering
it was quite sad..but oh well, theyre only sec one
and some sec twos
after that was team building
nothing special there
cheering
and vespers!
haha
1st night vespers went pretty well
kudos to arthur, andrew and jeremy!
yeah
night games after that
haha
axis vs allies
that was when the famous
'thats not very nice' came up
and oh
during the first cheering
"left left right right, whats this? 5566 issit?"

needless to say
all the instructors had to desperately cover our faces after that
even yi yang
john even ran out of the room

yep
went back after that

day2
ahh
well
killer day
the nominees has council talk
and
ahem
council cheering
yes well
they were murdered
ahh
and after lunch
was
soccer.
soccer.
soccer.
MWAHAHA
the sec ones played each other first
and then..
semi final one
acpb sec2s vs nominee team
woohoo
whooped them good we did!
gd job to soccer team
jin, sujesh, zuzu, elendrus, sam eng, tee..etc..
and of course
our dedicated cheerleading squad!
haha
and
later
we faced the s3s
heh
2-0 scoreline
lol
needless to say everyone was shocked
haha
WE ARE THE CHAMPIONS!
yes well
vespers was amazing
really felt God's presence there
and
the altar call was made
and SO many people responded!
praise God!
yup
quite heartening
night games was mundane
slept at the space frame while guarding torches
haha
went back up 2 the room for pizza
haha
'sec two penthouse' indeed!
lots of fun with the other s2s
seb, jin, yu jin, adriel, sujesh, szu, ben, sam eng, yanhan, jiayi, jeremy , andrew tay, nigel, yeang, shawn quek, jian xiong

day3
slept like logs till firedrill
where we were all stoned out
jeremy was sleeping sitting up
a few of us went for pt later
ran with the nominees and all
and then..

the ex ex council came back
all the insane people from acjc
the nominees sure died
yeah
leftat 12

so that was camp in a nutshell!
memorable indeed
went for rugby later
quite ok
did scrum machine most of the time

yeah
and then
sigh
sad news
sam chan was diagnosed with cancer
so..pray for him...
ahh well...


sad end to a fulfilling day
