a veritable hub of activity
small groups conversing
people moving in and out of the room
small insane people bothering others
shouts of feigned anger
laughs
but away from all this
is the corner
seated on a chair
covered with white cloth
he slumps
and stares into the clear blue sky
and glances at his photos
people talk to him
a group forms around him now and then
the small chap irritates him now and then
the ruggers come up to discuss the game now and then
et al
but more often than not
you'll see him staring out his window
and looking at his photos
wishing
waiting
wanting
for a better time
a better place
with better people
